About Us

Hi, I'm Anita (on the left!).

My partner Nicky and I met in 2014 and we had our baby girl in 2017. Having attended many Pride events we struggled to find any reasonably priced LGBTQ+ inspired clothing for our little girl Lakelyn. We wanted to change that so, in July 2018, 'Bee Proud' was born.  

Nicky works full time, whilst I stay at home with our daughter, developing 'Bee Proud'. All our printed designs have been created by me, inspired by pride and equality, with little ones in mind. I will continue to add to the current range, along with other fun and colourful products and accessories.

At the very beginning of our journey it became apparent that our LGBTQ+ inspired designs were not only loved by LGBTQ+ families, but were also appreciated by other families who support our community.  With this in mind, I make sure that my designs can be personalised to suit every family.  

I look forward to designing something special for your little one. This can include custom requests, making that little something even more unique and special.
